Autumn Jane Holbrook

Autumn Jane Holbrook, 7 years old, of Oak Hill, died Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  Autumn was born November 19, 2014 in Portsmouth to Elizabeth (Barkhurst) Holbrook and Zachary Holbrook.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents; Cathy Holbrook, of Sciotoville, J. Bruce and Rebecca Barkhurst, of Oak Hill, great-grandparents, John and Donna Barkhurst, of Oak Hill, uncles; John Barkhurst (Jennifer), of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Dustin Holbrook, of Lucasville, an aunt, Hannah Sturgill (Conner Wyatt), of West Chester, OH and four cousins; Isaac, Lucas, Rylee, and Kai.  Autumn was preceded in death by an aunt, Cassie Holbrook.

Autumn Jane most enjoyed music, cuddles, her stuffed animal named Slothy, bubbles, and porch time with her favorite nurses.

A Celebration of Life will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Pastor Matt Rawlings sharing words of comfort at 6:00 PM. 

Another Celebration of Life will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Liberty Theatre Community Center in Oak Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Autumn’s honor to the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Cincinnati, 341 Erkenbrecher Avenue, Cincinnati, OH  45229
