Barbara Jean (Ernst) Collins

Barbara Jean (Ernst) Collins, 79, of Portsmouth, died Sunday, April 11, 2021 at River Run Nursing Home in Portsmouth. She was born September 20, 1941 in Georgetown, OH to the late Eugene Ernst.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two children, Charles Woods and Joyce Woods.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Timothy Woods and Dennis Woods, her two daughters, Diana Moore (Michael) and Tammy Tackett (Dave), nine grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Greenlawn cemetery in Portsmouth with Robert Cooper officiating. Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth is handling the arrangements.
