Barbara Ann Stevens

Barbara Ann Stevens, 84, of Portsmouth, died Monday, September 26, 2022, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.  Barbara was born October 30, 1937, in Tigerville, KY to the late Strother Craft and Fannie (Stevens) Craft.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ward, a daughter, Debra Conn, three granddaughters, Melissa, Angie, and Barbie, and fourteen siblings.

Barbara loved to play Bingo.  She is survived by a brother, Ellis Craft, of Portsmouth, three grandchildren, Danny Craft, of Portsmouth, Heidi Lynn Copley (Andrew), of Wheelersburg, James Craft (Cindy), of Wheelersburg, sisters-in-law, Connie Craft and Jean Craft, as well as four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her special friend, her dog, Bella.

Services will be private and under the direction of Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
