Branden Lee Haywood

Branden Lee Haywood, 24, of Sciotoville, died Friday, September 10, 2021.  He was born March 13, 1997 in Portsmouth, to Zane Haywood, Sr. and Melissa (Spencer) Throckmorton. Branden enjoyed making memories with his son. He also loved playing video games, cornhole, pool and beer pong. He was employed by Asplundah Tree Expert, LLC as a Foreman. Branden worked with his brothers and many coworkers that were like brothers.
Branden was preceded in death by his step-father, Nick Throckmorton, and grandmother, Doris Haywood.
He is survived by his father, Zane Haywood, Sr. (Tashina), of Sevierville, TN., mother, Melissa Throckmorton, of Portsmouth, and the Love of his Life, Christian Ann Riley, of Portsmouth, son, Braxten Lee Haywood, step-son, Noah Matthew Burton, mamaw, Martha Spencer, of Portsmouth, three brothers; Zane Haywood, Jr. (Taylor), of Wheelersburg, Nathan Haywood, (Hope), of Stout, Shawn Haywood, of El Paso, TX., a step-sister, Cheyenne Tomblin, of Wheelersburg.  He is also survived by nieces and nephews; Bre, Grayson, Piper, Bexley, Izzy, Gabby, and Carter, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 PM until 8PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth. Funeral services will be private and burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
