Connie Sue (Brown) Altman

Connie Sue Altman, 66, of West Portsmouth, died Thursday, October 6, 2022, at SOMC Hospice.  She was born May 4, 1956, in Portsmouth, to Helen (Montavon) Brown, and the late Archie Brown.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dale Altman, and a brother, John Brown.

Connie was a 1974 graduate of Northwest High School, a member of Community of Christ Church, she loved country music, Tennessee, and shopping.

In addition to her mother, Helen Brown of McDermott, Connie is survived by two sons, Dale Altman, II (Marisa) of McDermott, David Altman (Emily) of Akron, two daughters, Kim Green (Danny) of West Portsmouth, Kellie Altman (Dustin) of Lucasville, son-in-law, Jason Taylor of McDermott, sister-in-law, Teresa Brown of McDermott, and her fiancé, Dan Artis of West Portsmouth, along with nine grandchildren; Braden Altman-Taylor, Evan Green, Bryson Taylor, Aurora Altman, Braxton Taylor, Miley Altman, Reese Daylon Green, Madi Green, and Jovi Altman.

The family would like to send special thanks to the immediate family of Dale Altman Sr. who has shown their love and support to Connie and family throughout.

Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Chaplain Daron Lilly officiating. A visitation for friends and family will be on Tuesday prior to the funeral beginning at 4:30PM
