David Lawrence Vernier

David Lawrence Vernier, 82, of Powell, died Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the New Albany Nursing Care Center. He was born July 14, 1939 in Portsmouth, to the late Lawrence and Faye (Henry) Vernier. David was a retired Pharmacist.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona (Johnson) Vernier and two sisters, Jean Barker and Joan Erwin.

David is survived by his two sons, Michael D. Vernier of Centerburg and Richard B. Vernier of Dublin.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with Deacon Terry Acox officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. A visitation for friends and family will be on Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of services at 2:00 P.M.
