Obituary
Debra Kay (Collins) Price, 60, of Portsmouth, died Monday, September 11, 2023 at SOMC. She was born January 19, 1963 in Portsmouth, to the late Robert and Mary (Haywood) Collins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Stephanie Dawn Price, and her siblings, Jack “Butch” Collins, Jake Howard, Gary Collins, Paul Collins, Regina Collins, and Sharon Collins.
Debra is survived by her husband, Warren Price, two sons, Harry Price and Warren Price Jr. (Courtney), a daughter, Crystal Gifford (Ryan), all of Portsmouth, eight grandchildren, including Stephanie Spencer (Jared) of Portsmouth, who she raised as a daughter, a great-grandson, Colton Spencer, a brother, Jim Collins (Lisa) of West Portsmouth, two sisters, Carolyn Neace of Lucasville and Patricia Collins of Clarktown, Terry Blevins, who was like a son, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth. Graveside services will be 1:30 P.M. on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace with Jane Jarrells officiating.
