Eugene "Joe" Rudity

Eugene Joseph “Joe” Rudity, 78, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at SOMC Hospice. He was born September 22, 1942 in Portsmouth to the late John and Betty (Sisler) Rudity.
Joe was a good, quiet person and thought more deeply than anyone might imagine. He suffered in silence. He will be remembered and loved by many, including his sister Cecilia (Cece) Early, nephew Jeff (Maria) Early, great nieces Natalya, Abagail and Bailey Early and great nephew Jordan Early.

Other relatives include the Sisler, the Andronis, the Falk, and the Brennan families.

Please remember Joe in your prayers. There will be no Mass at St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church. However, a special Mass will be requested there, at a later date.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Kelly Early.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful people for the care given by those at and associated with SOMC Hospice during his few weeks in their care.

Graveside services will be11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Greenlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
