Gary L. Murnahan

Gary L. Murnahan, 80, of Worthingon, KY., died Saturday. September 25, 2021 at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY.  Gary was born April 30, 1941 in Ironton, OH to the late Emerson and Ruby (Lewis) Murnahan. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Donald Murnahan, brother, Ronald Murnahan, two sisters; Sarah Pauley, and Mary Holschuh.

Gary is survived by wife, Linda (Buchanan) Murnahan, sons; Emerson Murnahan, of Kitts Hill, Henry Murnahan, of Worthington, KY., daughters; Sherry Sparks, of Portsmouth, Lisa Oliver, of Culloden, WV., Janice Wells, of Worthington, KY., Barbara Hall, of Portsmouth, Ruby Chapman, of Worthington, KY., and a sister, Maggie Shotsky, of Ironton.  He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with Dennis Dawes officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
