Gary W. Williams

Gary W. Williams, 64, of Portsmouth, died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.  He was born December 5, 1956 in Portsmouth to the late Clifford Williams and Wilma (Winters) Muncy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Shortridge, and two infant sons; Matthew and Gary Williams.

Gary loved the outdoors, he loved to deer hunt and was a huge Buckeye Fan.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Winters) Williams, a daughter, Ashley Williams, of Portsmouth, brother, Steven Muncy, of Minford, sisters; Rita Miller (Martin), of South Webster, Brenda Noel, of Wheelersburg, and three grandchildren; Shaylee, Hanaa, and Ethan Altman.

A visitation and celebration of life will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
