Harold Michael Curnutte, 79, of Portsmouth, died Friday, December 24, 2021 at Best Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg.
He was born March 14, 1942 in Portsmouth to the late Harold and Regina (Schwamberger) Curnutte. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gary Martin.
Mike was a scholarly person, very academic, he loved to read. He was a college graduate, earning a Masters Degree and worked as a college professor teaching accounting.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Martin, of Franklin Furnace, and an aunt, Mary Sue Korte, of Michigan, as well as several cousins.
Services will be private and are under the direction of Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth, OH.
