Jeffrey Richard Lutz

Jeffrey Richard Lutz, 45, of Portsmouth, died Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Portsmouth. He was born July 28, 1975 in Salinas, California. Jeff was a 1993 graduate of Green High School.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Pamela and Carl Brumfield of Franklin Furnace , two daughters, Chloee and Chevelle, three brothers, Jeremy Lutz (Karen) of Franklin Furnace, William Brumfield (Linda) of Wheelersburg, and Timothy Brumfield (Misty) of Franklin Furnace, Aunt Patty Ehrhart (Chuck) of Wheelersburg and Uncle Rusty Richard (Gretchen) of Columbus, Indiana, a grandfather, Hal Lutz of California, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins and also several other members of the Lutz family in California.

He is preceded in death by his father, David H. Lutz, and his grandparents, Russell and Betty Richard, and grandmother, Charlene Lutz.

Graveside funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Universal Cemetery in Clay Township, with Pastor Dennie Hankins officiating. Services are under the direction of Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
