At the twilight of their lives, John and Sharon lived across the hallway from one another in the same long term care facility, at times visiting each other daily, as they each battled their own cognitive declines and physical illnesses until John passed in peace.
John was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Portsmouth Ohio. He then went onto graduate from the University of Cincinnati were he played football for the Bearcats. He was always happy wherever he was cheering on his former Football team as  #83.
