Johnda Lynn Kerns

Johnda Lynn Kerns, 54, of Lucasville, died Friday, July 31, 2020 at SOMC. She was born October 15, 1965 in Portsmouth to the late Ezra “E.R.” Miller and Billie (Young) Davis. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son, Randall Keith. 

Johnda is survived by her step-dad, Ken Davis of Wheelersburg, two sons, Michael Dustin Kerns of Portsmouth and Matthew Miller of Crown City, three daughters; Megan Kerns of Portsmouth, Brooklyn Price of Sciotoville, and Makia Miller of Hillsboro, her grandchildren, Michael, Amarianta, and Karter. She is also survived by her siblings; Lance Davis (Amanda) of Sciotoville, Kelly Davis (Hakar) of Hillsboro, Carl Miller (KeeKee) of Rosemount, and Rachel Kerns (Donnie) of Portsmouth, and several nieces and nephews. 

A Memorial service will be 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth. A visitation for friends and family will be on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Gavin James officiating.

Per State orders, a mask or face covering will be required for entry into the funeral home.
