Joseph W. Duckett

Joseph W. Duckett, 59, of Portsmouth, died Saturday, October 26, 2024 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born April 16, 1965 in Portsmouth, to the late Russell Bashaw and Gloria (Duckett) Rowe.

Joe was a Master Electrician and loved to work and enjoyed helping people in need.

He is survived by his fiancé, Audrey (Scarberry) Logan, his children, twins, Sean and Shane Loudermilk, Sheldon, and Shaderick Duckett, Shaina Duckett, Sonya Madden, Angela and Christian Scarberry, seven grandchildren, Maxson, Khloey , Joey, Natalie, Haiden, Christian, and Delilah, and a great-granddaughter, Layenna.

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Friday November 1, 2024 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with Pastor Shawn Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. A visitation for friends and family will be on Thursday, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
