Karen (Welty) Kennard

Karen Welty- Kennard, (67) Born June 3, 1955, of Portsmouth Ohio passed away on Nov 3, 2022 at SOMC, Hospice Portsmouth Ohio. She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Holsinger. 
She is survived by her father George Welty of Friendship, OH, two sisters, Kathryn Welty- Wahl of Norfolk VA, and Melody Welty-Koert/Saul of Lelystad Netherlands. Karen had 2 children, 5 grandchildren, Xena Carrington, Matthew Kennard, Adreonna McNutt, Shannon Hamilton and Shyann Hamilton. Jack and Kathryn Wahl, were by her bedside when she passed. Our thanks go out to the nurses and staff at Hospice.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 11, 2022 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Portsmouth, Ohio.
