Lois Juanita (Hilderbrand) Farmer

Lois Juanita Farmer, 75, of Sciotoville, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at SOMC. She was born November 26, 1945 in Madison, West Virginia to the late Perry and Vina Lou (Kelley) Hilderbrand. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Farmer, and several brothers and sisters. 

Lois is survived by her son, Thomas Farmer (Jaclyn) of Olive Hill, KY, a daughter, Frances Louise Bloomfield (Mark) of Portsmouth, close family friend, Staci Smith Farmer, five grandchildren; Gaven, Nicholas, and Gabriel Farmer, Jackie Sims (Darrin), and Jacob Caudill. She is also survived by a great-grandson, Jayce Caudill. 

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Pastor Dennis Dawes officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Portsmouth. 

A visitation for friends and family will be on Wednesday at the funeral home starting at noon.
