Mary Elaine (Cook) Call

Mary Elaine Call, 76, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at SOMC Hospice. She was born February 16, 1946 in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Jim and Beatrice (Williams) Cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Jimmy Cook and Gary Cook.

Mary is survived by her husband, Gary Call, Sr., sons; Gary Call, Jr. of Minford, David Call (Tina), of Wheelersburg, daughter, Keri Briggs (Tim), of New Boston, two sisters; Linda Mercer (Mike), of Wheelersburg, and Wilma Mowery, of North Carolina, as well as four grandchildren; Brittany, Dawson, Miranda, and Payton, and two great-grandchildren; Aiden, and Harleigh.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the care of Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth, Ohio
