Mary Katherine (Nuzum) Conley

Mary Katherine Conley, 84, of Otway, died Friday, April 12, 2024, as the result of a home fire. She was born March 11, 1940 in Lexington, OH to the late William Nuzum and Hazel (Hershey) Nuzum. She was a housewife and a proud member of Pleasant Valley Community Church of Christ.

Her husband, Lundy Burgess Conley perished in the same home fire, they had been married 49 years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Higley and two brothers, David Villers and William Nuzum.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Crystal Jordan (Michael) of Lucasville and Violet Pollard (William) of Portsmouth, two sisters, Sandy and Myrtle, and a half-sister, Jenny Lambert of Iron Mountain, MI, and two grandsons, Andrew Jordan and Curtis Pollard.

A Celebration of Life for both Lundy and Mary will be held on their 50th wedding anniversary, 11:00 A.M. Friday April 26, 2024 at Community of Christ – Pleasant Valley Branch 723 Sedan Crabtree Rd.  Lucasville, OH 45648, the family will greet friends starting at 10:00 A.M.
