Obituary
Milo Thomas Hoover, six-month-old baby boy of McArthur, died Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital. He was born December 31, 2022, in Portsmouth, to Kelsey Hoover of McArthur. Milo spent his first four months of life fighting in the NICU and he graduated from there on June 6, 2023.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Angela and Robert Hoover of Lucasville, great-grandparents, Larry and Annette Johnson of Garrison, KY, his aunts, Kimberly Johnson, Katelyn Hoover (Joey Shultz), and Dylanne Adams (David Meadows) all of Portsmouth, and uncle, Robert Hoover (Jackie Bunch) of Lucasville, and his cousins, Konner, Bentley, Mallory, Greyson, and Dakota. He is also survived by many great-aunts, great-uncles, and other cousins.
Funeral services will 12:00 PM Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with Pastor Mike Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Universal Cemetery in Rubyville. A visitation for friends and family will be on Saturday, one hour before the service.
