Mollie Marie Thrasher

Mollie Marie Thrasher, 63, of Portsmouth, died Friday, June 30, 2023, at SOMC. She was born March 27, 1960, in Kentucky, to the late Charles Hatfield and Opal Mick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, a grandson, Connor Johnson, and her dear friend, Judith Tipman.

Mollie is survived by her son, Bruce Blanton of Portsmouth, daughter, Nikki Bashaw (Jason) of West Portsmouth, three brothers, Aaron Blanton (Jamie) of New Boston, Fred Mick of Jackson, and Dewey Mick of Portsmouth, two sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Anna Tabor, several nieces and nephews, and close family friend, Robert Tipman of Portsmouth.

 Mollie is also survived her six grandchildren, Alanah, Brittany, Whittney, Julie, Rebecca, and Heather, that she adored so much.

A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
