Phillip Williams Obituary

Phillip M. Williams, 47, of Portsmouth, died Saturday, December 5, 2020 at SOMC Hospice. He was born February 10, 1973 in Portsmouth to his mother, Charlene Williams Rickards who survives him.

In addition to his mother, Phillip is survived by his siblings; Doug Williams of Indiana, Juanita Sissel of Portsmouth, Linda Swords of West Portsmouth, John Howard of Portsmouth, Crystal Kennedy of Portsmouth, Josh Rickards of Portsmouth, and Dale Williams of Portsmouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents that raised him, John and Shirley Howard and a sister, Lilly Scott.

Funeral services will be private due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Vernon Township at 2:00 PM Monday, December 7, 2020 with Rev. Danny Thompson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
