Richard Allen Brown II

Richard “Rick” Allen Brown II, 41, of Franklin Furnace, died Thursday, July 7, 2022. He was born October 31, 1980 in Charleston, S.C. Rick was a cook at various local restaurants, liked to collect knives, loved old cars, and enjoyed reading and fishing. His favorite thing to do was just be at home with his wife and family, he adored his children.

Rick was preceded in death by two brothers, Nicholas and Jamie Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Toni (Collingsworth) Brown, his son, Richard Brown III of Middletown, four daughters, Elizabeth Brown from Middletown, Evelyn Brown of Springboro, Sarah Duncan of West Portsmouth, and Jessica Duncan of West Portsmouth, his father, Richard Brown (Jeri Louise) of Hamilton, a sister, Sara Gayman of Dayton, his mother-in-law, Rachel Collingsworth of West Portsmouth, and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth. A visitation for friends and family will on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help offset the funeral expenses.
