Ronald D Meyers

Ronald D. Meyers, 85, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at his home. He was born July 28, 1936 in Scioto County to the late Glenn and Sylvia (Morgan) Meyers.

Ron was a United States Army Veteran and had retired from Norfolk & Southern as a Machine Operator.

Ron is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Cathy (Lynch) Meyers, two brothers; Bill Meyers (Sara) of Lake Wales, FL and Ralph Meyers (Gladys) of Virginia Beach, VA, a sister, Hazeldean Meyers of Portsmouth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings; Glenn Meyers, Carl Meyers, Alvida Long, Richard Meyers, Raymond Meyers, Barbara Lewis, Loretta Nolan, Paul Meyers, and Joel Meyers.

Funeral services will be private and under the direction of Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
