Sandra (Ward) Kalb

Sandra Kalb, 79, of West Portsmouth, died Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Best Care Nursing Home in Wheelersburg. She was born September 8, 1943, in Portsmouth, to the late Ottie and Freida (Ramey) Ward. Sandy worked for Savory Foods before her retirement, and she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kalb, and two brothers, Larry and Terry Ward.

Sandy is survived by her two daughters, Ronita Murray-Johnson (Chris Johnson) of Wheelersburg, and Jennifer Kalb (Andrew Charles) of Wheelersburg, six grandchildren, Tracy Murray, Mariah Murray, Lindsey Johnson, Mason Johnson, Austin Pettigrew, and Aubrey Charles,. She is also survived by her brother, Dan Ward (Diana) of Crestwood, KY, a sister, Linda McGlone (Bryan) of McDermott, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 6:00 P.M. Monday, June 19, 2023 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Pastor Ralph Clay officiating. A visitation for friends and family will be on Monday, starting at 4:00 P.M.
