Sharon Louise Fraley, 61, of Portsmouth, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at her home. She was born November 2, 1960 in Portsmouth to the late Ralph and Juanita (Gross) Sexton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers; Joe Grooms, Dave Lavey, Brian Sexton, and Mike Sexton, as well as three sisters; Mary Sexton, Judy Grooms and Renee Stone.

Sharon is survived by a son, Craig Fraley (Michele), of Mass., a daughter, Melissa Simpson (Kyle), of Portsmouth, a brother, William Lavey, of Springfield, two sisters; Sandra Middleton, of Portsmouth, and Brenda Monroe, of New Boston, as well as six grandchildren; Djay, Madison, Ava, Kylan, Makenna, and Hayven, along with several nieces and nephews.

Sharon was a wonderful homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and sister, and aunt.

A visitation for friends and family will be from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
