Sharon E Johnson

Sharon E. Johnson, 83, of Wheelersburg, died Monday, March 8, 2021.  She was born August 19, 1937 in Portsmouth to the late Carl Price and Dorothy (Bahner) Price.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Johnson, and sister, Carlene Wente.

Sharon is survived by daughter, Theresa Mantell (Tony) of Wheelersburg, sisters; Mary Ann James (John) of Firebrick, KY., Vivian Tackett (Jerry) of Galloway, sister-in-law, Shirley Doty, of Marion, four grandchildren; Jason Mantell (Lindsay), Erin Sutton (Steve), Brian Mantell (Mallory), Allison Riggs (Travis), 10 great grandchildren; Katelyn, Braden, Mia, Lane, Macy, Makinley, Max, Liam, Carson, and Dawson as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, March 12, 2021 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Penix officiating.  A visitation for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Portsmouth.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Scioto County Children’s Services, 3940 Gallia Street, New Boston, OH  45662.
