Sherry Ann (Murnahan) Sparks

Sherry Ann Sparks, 57, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at SOMC.  She was born May 4, 1964 in Ironton, OH to Linda (Buchanan) Murnahan, of Worthington, KY and the late Gary Murnahan.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Larry Sparks, of Portsmouth, four sons; James Robinson, of Portsmouth, Gary Sparks (Becky), of West Portsmouth, Thomas Sparks (Angie), of Portsmouth, Curtis Sparks, of Portsmouth, three daughters; Stacey Sullivan, of Portsmouth, Jessica Reed (James), of Portsmouth, Natalie Tecan (Martin), of Portsmouth, two brothers; Emerson Murnahan (Janice), of Ironton, Henry Murnahan (Katie), of Worthington, KY, four sisters; Linda Oliver, of Hurricane, WV, Janice Tackett (Robert), of Worthington, KY, Barbara Hall, of Portsmouth, Ruby Chapman (Anthony), of Worthington, KY, as well as 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2022 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth with Dennis Dawes officiating.  Visitation for family and friends will start at 11:00 AM on Monday until the time of service.  Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Nile Township.
