Steven Thomas Thrasher

Steven Thomas Thrasher, 64, of Portsmouth, died Sunday, April 10, 2022, at SOMC Hospice.  Steve was born December 29, 1957, in Loveland, OH to the late Robert F. Thrasher and Bonnie (Hoisington) Thrasher.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Thrasher, and two sisters; Pam Thrasher and Becky Newland.

Steve loved watching the Cincinnati Reds, he also loved to fish, garden, and to bake.

He is survived by his wife, Mollie (Blanton) Thrasher, two sons; Chris Gibson (Janice), of Friendship, and Bruce Blanton, of Portsmouth, a daughter, Nikki Bashaw (Jason), of West Portsmouth, six grandchildren; Alanah, Brittany, Whittney, Julie, Rebecca, and Heather, as well as two special nieces; Bethany and Rachel and a sister-in-law Karina Thrasher, of Cincinnati.

Services will be private and under the direction of Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
