Timothy Slark

Timothy Wayne Slark, 57, of Portsmouth, died Friday, December 15, 2023 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. He was born February 9, 1966 in Portsmouth, to the late Harold Slark and Louella Kelley.

“T”, as most knew him by, was a friend to many and will be sadly missed. He was a joy to be around and lived for the moment. Many people will remember T for his carpentry skills, he was a wonderful handyman.

He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Price (Ryan) of Medway, OH, four grandchildren, Zachary, Abbygail, Jacob, and Kaleb, three sisters, Brenda Hall (Winston) of Lucasville, Leetha Slark of West Portsmouth, and Betty Raper (Phillip) of Arkansas. He is also survived by two special friends, Cindy Johnson of Portsmouth and Jeff Boggs of Sciotoville, and a special grandson, Creed Osborne, who he thought the world of.

In addition to his parents, T was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Slark and a sister, Pam Slark

Funeral Services will be private and at a later date. Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth is handling the arrangements.
