Vicky Lyn Walden

Vicky Lyn Walden, 55, of West Portsmouth, passed onto heaven on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at SOMC Hospice.  She went peacefully with loved ones by her side.  She was born March 16, 1967 in Lancaster, Ohio to Harold Walden, and the late, Mabel (Campbell) Walden.  In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Allen.

Vicky is survived by her father, Harold Walden, of Flemingsburg, KY, a son, Jeremy Fisher (Brittney), of South Shore, daughters; Jennifer Monteith, of Portsmouth, Jeanie Crumm (Kurtis), of Portsmouth, Jodi Scott (Randall), of Stout, brother, Harold Walden, of Kansas, sisters; Jenny Vest (Roger), of Portsmouth, and Deanna Clarke, of Flemingsburg, KY. As well as 15 grandchildren: Kaylyn, Mylei, DJ, Brylee, Kolton, Jazzy, Keyaira, Kaleb, Kali, Mariana, Meila, Grayson, Ellie, Rae and Leo.

Vicky loved her children and grandchildren more than anything.  She was taken too soon and will be missed dearly by her family.  Until we meet again, we love you Mom!

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth with a visitation for family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM.
